Chavela's Mexican Cuisine - Joplin

Have gone to Chavela's several times for dinner. Their fajitas are great with very generous portions. Service is fast and courteous.Food: 5/5

Love close by and had never been so we have it a try the other night. Wife and son loved their enchiladas. I got the Huveos Ranchero. It wasn't bad just didn't care for the beans on it. We will be back to try new things. The menu is huge so plenty to choose from.

Haven't had a real steak torta since I was South of the border... So lucky to find this place...and my waitress Catalina was amazing!Parking: It's in a little strip mall and you have to be on the lookout for the first time

We Found this incredible place completely on accident. Rosie our waitress was so kind and patient going over each detail of the menu we had questions about and even offered us a sampler plate of salsas n she happily pointed out her favorite dishes too. She shared in stories of home made dishes and her favorite things to cook too. This little hacienda is a MUST try if you're in the area. If you're looking for authentic Mexican food, go try Chabela's because there's nothing on their menu that will turn you away!!! So so so good!!! So good!!! I wish I didn't live and hour away, but let me tell you... WORTH AN HOUR DRIVE!!!!!

I enjoyed this quite a bit. It's much larger inside than it looks from the outside. The menu has a good variety, with many items I don't often find in Mexican restaurants in the area. There is much more on the menu I would like to sample, so we will be returning.
