Restaurant bewertenOkay. I kept myself in reviewing this place, but I was too busy with friends here many times. first discovered kalm here on urbanspoon so wanted to come here first in front of all other social media sites from larger cities that have many good Vietnamese choices, I have to say that the calm is to the best out there and it still surprises me every time I eat there that we have such a high California, true Vietnamese space here in this area they have been busy always trying to be busy
I usually get the chicken wings and Banh Mi with no issues but also decided to get the chicken fried rice this time around. This was the biggest mistake I could have ever made it was overpriced, thin slices of fry chicken and just tasted weird.
Excellent food (healthy and flavors outstanding) and coffee at an affordable price. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
I would say it 's mediocre. It 's not bad but it 's nothing special honestly. I paid $30 for two small bowls of pho, a small coffee and a Thai tea, plus kimchi. My friend said her coffee was extremely strong and like something you 'd expect to get at church, a church coffee. My Thai tea was good but it 's $4 for a small. When I could get a large for the same price elsewhere. My pho wasn 't bad but the beef meatball was diced and dog food type texture... they might need to try something else.. it was also very fatty. If you want premium quality beef pho go to the roots in Johnson city TN. You get a large bowl of filet mignon pho for $11. The service here was okay, it may be something in their culture where you don 't bother the customers while eating. But we needed things and didn 't want to yell for the waitress.. we ended up not getting the things we needed while eating. She was very polite and nice though so no personality issues... just needed to be more on top of seeing if we needed anything.... The place was kinda clean, could be better but for Gray, I don 't expect top notch cleanliness. I probably won 't be back.
I swear, gun to my head, last meal on Earth, it just might be BUN DAC BIET I tried this one day bc only a psychopath eats a big bowl of hot pho in the summer, life was never the same, be sure to give it a try if you like Vietnamese food. I always get the herbs that come with pho to up the flavor and spice game even more, don't forget that chili oil and lime squeeze either, crucial.
