290 Wine Castle - Johnson City

My husband and I loved everything about this experience!! The wine was delicious. The staff was very friendly. The atmosphere was amazing!! We also ordered cheese and chocolates and enjoyed it all!!

Fun, quirky place. We visited with a group for a tasting. The wine was fine my favorite was the cherry bomb rose and the frozen sangria which has a pomegranate base. There’s indoor and outdoor seating and food such as pizza. My only complaint, the deck had a few loose boards which can pose a problem for guests. Other than that, the staff are nice and they seem to have tons of events throughout the year.

The frozen sangria was really good. I like how creative all of the sitting areas are. The outdoor space is nice, I especially liked the inflatable couches and they also have a hotel.

This place was so cool. We had a great time here visiting with Barbara our server. The rooms were so awesome. Take pictures in the Yellow chair!They have an Escape Room in October, just FYI. Great wine tasting and spectacular view.

Staff was attentive,informed, funny and amazing. Wine is rich in flavor and unique is variety. One of best wineries on our trip. The views of the hill country are amazing. A must visit for anyone on the 290 wine trail.1
