Djidjack - Joal-Fadiout

Not a welcoming place! Was looking for a place for a drink and maybe a meal and entered the property with the car. A rather rude and not helpful man not willing to understand my French came to say that I could stay. I left.

Very friendly owners, nice non-crowded location, very calm and good food. They also introduced us to a guide for a boat tour of the mangroves which was excellent.

We had a wonderful stay at Djidjack! Can only recommend! Norbert was a fantastic host, and an even better chef. He made delicious dinners and served us breakfast (with crêpes, pain perdu and homemade confiture) on the terrace located in a big baobab tree. The room was clean, big and had mosquito nets and fans. Very spacious around the cabin, with a hammock and the beach a few minutes away by foot. The swimming pool was not ready yet to be used but that was not an issue for us. Norbert helped us book a balade en pirogue with Pap in Djiffer, and even arranged our way back to Dakar for us. Merci beaucoup Norbert et on espère de retourner bientôt!! Coraline Aileen de Pays-Bas

Very true, and comfortable. Unpretentious but at a very correct price, it is a place that combines nature with peace and polite personnel. Enjoy Plenty of opportunities around for the ones wanting to see the reservation of Palmarin or simply enjoy the peace of nature close to the sea. Very nice, natural beach, with artisanal shop and shipwreck for added colour. Will come back

Nice camp with bungalows and also the possibilty to park with a camping car. its situated directly next to the beach, situated ni a garden old baobab tress und coconut palm trees. there is also a swimming pool and free wifi.
