Johnny Rockets - Jersey City

The food came after 40 minutes! For two burgers with Pommes, this is the longest time I ever had to wait. Unfortunately, I was also disappointed with the quality of food. A sandwich was dry and the bungalow was burned. The other sandwich back was burned and the beef tasted bad! The pommes were hard as stones and bitter. Overall, the food was not delicious, burned and came very late! I definitely won?

I had the Philly steak and green salad with a coke. It was super busy and the food was good. The waitress I had was super friendly and checked on me thru out my time there. She was happy in her work and had a smile on her face. I could see everyone in the kitchen and they were all talking and working as a team. Great atmosphere for a busy joint

We have Route66 burger,it was good but not the best. Burger was unsalted and the portion was little small. Service was fairly fast for the busyness. Strawberry milkshake was also nice.

We've eaten at a few Johnny rockets in New Jersey, including the one in Hoboken and Paramus. This was our first time at the Elizabeth location. Of course there are problems with the location being so small and the line outside having to wait to get in, but that doesn't affect my review. Our actual wait outside wasn't too long less than 10 minutes, so that was good. However when it came to the actual burger, they weren't cooked enough. They tasted like they could have got a few more minutes on the grill just to get to medium rare. But regardless of the amount of cooking, the burger is really lacked that flavor a burger should have. We also paid $2.00 extra for the unlimited fries, but being how busy they were it took too long to get to fries making that $2.00 a waste. There's a jukebox in the corner entrance, feel free to select the free song to play before you sit down. Also there is another entrance closer that we saw people walk in and sit down from while they were still a line of people waiting to get in. This is something that should be roped off to prevent those that feel too privileged to wait. I was also shocked that how disgusting the refrigerator looked for orders waiting to be picked up! I hate to pull my food out of the refrigerator that looked that bad! It was very, very busy here. The waitress was nice and did a great job considering. The problem, surprisingly was the food. All 3 of is and nobody finished their food. We weren't even going to box it up but hate to waste food. They were just burgers and a hotdog but to put it in perspective, I almost always finish my food ordered out. The food here just was not that good.
