I wish I could give 0 stars for TERRIBLE customer service. I ordered 10 items for my employees, but when the ordered arrived, one item was missing Hot Braised Chicken. I called the restaurant to let them know, and they basically called me a liar. They told me they were 100% sure they put the Braised Chicken on the bottom of the box. I proceeded to tell them that I, myself, gave the food to my agents, one by one, and the last agent did not have his food. I told them I emptied the box (they specified this four times to me), but it was not in the order. The Manager gets on the phone to tell me the same thing and once again, I told him that the item was not in the box. All they had to do was remake the food or refund me, but they would not do either. We went back and forth until I said thank you and hung up the phone. This establishment is so cheap that they could not replace the order that was clearly not in the box. All my agents were with me and double checked the box to make sure nothing was in the box. Terrible, terrible customer service.
I only picked this place because its close by my house. Food is okay. I only wish they added more rice but instead it was a small amount in these styrofoam cups. Service was bad. I had to have my boyfriend call in the order because the lady at the front counter was very rude and claimed I was mumbling. She actually got frustrated and put me on hold. The atmosphere of the place isn't alluring. I would only recommend taking the food home and enjoy in the comfort of your house plus the staffing just doesn't make you feel welcome.
The food is so good and fresh. The staff at the front counter is over worked and can be sharp at times. It is an older building which could use some repair but sometimes the hole in the wall place is the best. We have been coming here for years. Covid changed a number of things.
Your food is great. We always get awesome, fast and friendly delivery. We order delivery frequently; however, I ordered online to pickup today 8/2/22 at around 4:50 pm and the person at the window was mean. I 've seen her before at some other restaurant. Probably the bbq place a couple of doors down that closed a few years ago. She has an attitude I haven 't seen since 2019. A T T I T U D E. My online order indicated my order would be ready in 10 minutes. I didn 't get there until 20 minutes later. When I got to the window, the mean person asked for the last 4 of my phone number. She said she just put my order in and said give me a minute. I didn 't complain and tell her the online order said my order would be done in 10 minutes and that I got there 20 minutes late. I detected a huge attitude even though I didn 't react. I just said ok. I didn 't want to get sucked up in her attitude. A few seconds later, another worker brought my order to the window. The mean person slowly opened the window and gave me my order. I said thank you. I tuned out her attitude because I didn 't want to have a bad evening because of her negative projection. Keep up the good work St. Louis Kitchen. But don 't let this person run your customers away because she has a problem. I believe she may need anger management help.
