Restaurant bewertenEverything is home made and the prices are reasonable. Great service too. It's off the beaten path so you have to look for it.
Stopped in for breakfast and service was friendly and spot on! Food was just average. Portions were big and you won’t leave hungry. Kids pancakes were good but the meal I got had biscuits that had way too much flour in them. Gravy was very thick and almost like paste. Definitely would stick to your ribs but could use thinning out a bit. The sausage was bland but ok. Will say the scrambled eggs were cooked perfectly! Nothing spectacular and nothing bad, just not great or fantastic.
This is a great restaurant for vegetables and meat and especially pies. Their fried chicken was wonderful. The pieces were kind of small because they were real chickens and not pumped up with steroids and stuff. Great vegetables. Their pies were outstanding! Must go there to get real down to earth food.
If I could give it a zero I would. This place used to be great and has fallen far. If you want a lazy server with your orders done incorrectly and days old hash browns microwaved then this is your place. They don’t say thank you. They don’t say sorry. This place is horrible. Jeff City has plenty of superior options. Read all the one star reviews. You’ll see a common trend. This place is downright terrible.
We got right in, was served, meal was Broasted Chicken always the best. Our service was good got to talk to Mel, he has retired but still helps out, because he loves the people.
