The Scallop Shack Sorry, Down

The scallop shack is the heaven on earth! the finest scallops, hand dives and fresh, fresh, fresh! buy them from the always open shop or better still catch the uig seafood cafe (next door to bow) open and enjoy the joys of excellent seafood. it can be a long journey, but excellent is rarely easy!

Found by coincidence, walking around. very friendly owner and great scallops, oyster etc. if they do not visit, they can pick up from the refrigerator and pay with honesty box. highly recommended!

Had amazing scallops and salat, my partner had rolling with 3 scallops and stornoway black pudding. the staff so friendly and cheerful, additional bonus was the sun that all scallops radiates from dave, who has been there for over 30 years and could not be fresh anymore, dive. the skalopp is open 24 hours a day 7 days a week. payments are at the honesty box in shed and scallops with price are in the refrigerator. fantastic! could not recommend it high enough.

The scallops from here were fantastic, so fresh! the caffe was unfortunately closed today, but we have a box of skalopps at the collection point. I couldn't visit the western islands without trying anything!

A must visit. Best seafood we've ever eaten. Highly recommended. Scallop rolls, Cullen Skink and the freshest oysters.
