Restaurant bewertenWe were led to this restaurant by a man named Pete, who we met at the campsite where we were staying. He only had one leg and was sitting outside when he spotted us. We enjoyed a drink and a scone with him, his son, and a friend of theirs. They introduced us to the friendly lady owner who made us feel like special guests. Despite arriving as strangers, we left feeling like friends. Pete was quite the character and we would return just to see him again. The scones were tasty and the milky coffee was also very good.
My wife and I decided to try this restaurant for lunch, despite never having been before and not having high expectations. We were pleasantly surprised! The staff were friendly and the food was delicious. I ordered the Beef curry and chips, while my wife had a large baked potato with Prawns. The portions were generous and reasonably priced. Although it may be classified as a cafe, this place should not be underestimated.
I can confidently say that this café serves the best breakfast I have ever tasted. It's called "The Hangover" and for £6, you get bacon, sausage, black pudding, white pudding, beans, tomato, fried bread with egg on top, toast, and coffee or tea. Their other meals are also incredibly tasty. Best restaurant experience I've had.
Lovely little cafe with friendly service. Really enjoyed our food and was great value. Family of 4 with drinks £26. One word of warning. They only take cash. But I’ve found in north wales it’s good to have both cash loose change/£1 with you.
We were stopping around the corner from this cafe in July Every time we walked past it was full Came here on our last full day Wish we had come sooner The Welsh Mega Breakfast and the sausage egg bap were lovely With 2 milky coffees and 2 fresh OJs all for under £17 If we stop in Amlwch again won’t only come the once
