Restaurant bewertenUnbelievable food and quality. Small family owned business, very friendly, on the main strip. Must eat, all food hand made, ate twice in one week. Will definitely be back next year.
I had been to this restaurant a couple times prior to 2019 and enjoyed good lunches. It is now not open until 3:30 and caters more to the dinner crowd with many new selections geared towards that. I was walking by last night and there was bar seating available so I stopped in for a glass of wine and asked if they still had their cuban sandwich and was pleasantly surprised it was available. Bartender was very attentive and professional and offered me chardonnay when I asked for his white wine selections. Wine was very good, sandwich was good not great) but the dish was lacking those special potatoes of old times. It literally came with three very small slices of plantain as a side, more of a garnish. I don't believe the sandwich had ham on it, again more of a pork panini. I was pretty surprised at the total on my bill for two glasses of wine $320) and a panini $260), $700 with a tip $35USD.
We enjoyed the late lunch we had here. The food was delicious! We had to walk around the market for a while waiting for them to open. It would have been nice to know the correct opening time which ended up being 3:30ish. Regardless, we recommend!!
Great food not only fresh but wonderful Cuban flavors. Accommodating, friendly service. Will definitely return!
I have written 5 star reviews in the past for this place and this one will not be any different. Consistency is the name of the game here and this place delivers excellent food year after year. I had the freshly caught grouper and my wife had their delicious fish and chips, both outstanding. I promise you will not be disappointed in a meal from Cubanos. Angelita is the sweetheart of the island and it was good to see Ivan working the bar making world class margaritas!
