Pizzeria Trattoria - INDUNO OLONA

We had a very quick meal here, the service is very fast. The pizza is enormous but very tasty and the house wine was nice. The restaurant is very popular with locals.

Finally I ca find the time to write a review! This place, in a small village like Induno Olona, will surprise you due to a lot of things: starting from the service to the food. The personnel is really professional and gentle and can provide the right suggestions. My friends and I tried everything: from the pizza (which is really close to the Neapolitan one), to the pasta (ask for Carbonara), to the meat, to the desserts. Good selection of wines, beers and cocktails. The local is quite huge, but I totally suggest to make a reservation because the restaurant is always full, espacially during this period. Absolutely excellent pizza, one of the best I have got in Italy. Value for money and very kind staff. Surely wirth of the visit if you drive by.

Based on the recommendations and ratings on here we paid a visit for dinner... it certainly didn't disappoint! Between us we ordered a calzone and a pizza (as pictured), both were delicious. I swapped out olives on mine for some Brie. The local tomatoes are so tasty they really did add so much to the pizza, unlike in the U.K. The dough was super, not too heavy. We were the first to be seated around 19:00 but within half an hour it was almost full of Italians so obviously a popular place. There were many pizzas going out in take away boxes too. Restaurant is very plain and nothing to write home about but the food is great!
