Big Lug Canteen - Indianapolis

Love this place! The pork tenderloin was excellent as well as the chili side. My wife had the blue cheese burger with fried okra. I dont like blue cheese but that burger she had was awesome! The local beer was very good! I recommend this place to anyone!

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful! We told him it was our first time visiting and he gave us a warm welcome and explained the menu options to us and made great suggestions. The food was really really wonderful and the drinks were great too! We tried each beer they had on tap and they were all great. They also have house cocktails that are awesome too. It was a very fun and cool environment. I would definitely suggest hitting this place up if you're looking for a good place to eat and drink some beers.

Added a new life goal: to try everything on the menu. First time here and it was just too hard to pick one thing. Best fried okra I’ve had in my life. The guys here were super helpful picking out a beer and everything was just amazing. This is going to be my new go-to place.

Tried it for the first time at lunch Thursday. Came back for the patio (they let us bring our pup Friday night. Awesome food, atmosphere and service. (Best fish and chips I've found in Indy...easy on the breading, super crispy!
