Restaurant bewertenI stopped by at 5:20 pm and was told that they were closing. For dinner? I was extremely disappointed.
We were fortunate to find this family style restaurant in Ignace on Monday April 24th 2017. Quaintly painted windows drew us in. It's your basic truck stop type building but don't be put off. ..you'd miss a great gemWe were greated by friendly staff. My daughter ordered the chicken bacon mozzarella burger with onion rings and I ordered the 7 oz cheeseburger with onion rings. Wholey cow - the portions are colossal! Best onion rings ever. Seriously...EVER. Hot, crispy and oh so tastie. Burger was hot and delish! Neither of us could finish, but we were given take out containers so we packed up our leftovers.Prices were reasonable - $33 tax in for the 2 of us, and the menu/specials ensures that everyone will be happy!
Stopped here on our way back home from shopping trip to Winnipeg. Got stranded by highway closure due to winter snowstorm. Had a nice light lunch of soup and side of fries. Decent prices good portions and friendly waitress.
This is exactly what a truck stop should be. We were promptly welcomed by a very friendly waitress, which was a refreshing change from our previous stops. She was lively and outgoing. We both ordered the #2 breakfast, but couldn't finish it because we were so full. The atmosphere was cozy and the restrooms were clean. We would definitely stop here again.
We had breakfast, each of us ordered something different in the way we wanted our toast and eggs. The waitress was so accommodating. We looked around while waiting. The restaurant had fresh baked pies with whipped cream or meringue piled at least 4 inches high. It looked so good. Breakfast was definitely home cooked with great attention to detail and non-stop coffee refills. The staff is polite and helpful and the prices were very inexpensive. Great experience especially when you haven't had your morning coffee.
