Le Fontanele - IDRO

Abbiamo pranzato oggi, il posto era increspato, le frese al pesce perch eccezionale, anche il tiramisu, l'unico vino impeccabile, 8 euro per mezzo litro è davvero troppo considerando la scarsa qualità. Tornerò sicuramente.

Very nice lakeside venue away from the busy road. We had the macaroni cheese with speck which was very nice. The deserts were delicious too and the menu was very reasonably priced. The waiting staff were very friendly and welcoming and helped make our visit very enjoyable.

Pizzeria serves a good meal. But the hotel charged me double for the room. €72, for a doubleroom per night. We stayed one night. They charged me double (so 2 times €72, on my creditcard, but didn't correct their mistake after I send them an email in Italian explaining the problem. No answer at all. Is this the Italian way of doing business? So... be warned!

The restaurant doesn't give great expectations when entering and that was exactly right. The pasta carbonara was too fat with bacon that wasn't baked right. The beef was off poor quality with too much tough pieces inside. Too bad since the ladies running the place really did their best. Another family chose pizza and we heard them saying it was very nice. So maybe we had just bad luck. If you go there, it's my advice to try the pizza.
