Restaurant bewertenThe abdomens were closed due to maintenance. we enjoyed a walk and rest in the excellent landpark. there are many pine tables in good condition, so they bring their tee and sandwiches and have a wonderful day like us. there is also a playground for children. parking is £5 for the day. we will be back soon.
It is a beautiful place to go around, there are many ways to follow, some go through the forests, some around the lake. there are crimson gardens, a garden center, an adventurous playground for the children, sculptures and caffes. They can taste their hand in archery or on the sea boat or just make a cozy walk and enjoy the environment. for me was a highlight of the cheese and wobbly pasty from the caffe near the mill, it was the best I ever tasted!
After exploring places in nottinghamshire, I found rufford abbey, just a short 30min drive from nottingham. it was fantastic. really beautiful gardens and country house, enjoyed being in nature and exploring somewhere new. it is a huge place and you could just spend the day here. eating was good and very reasonable. I loved it!
Really beautiful gardens, lots of space, beautiful ruins to foot, a beautiful lake, even dogs loud, what more could they want if it is all free, the mill parking machines were out of order, as well as, bonus.
Rufford Abbey Park is a wonderful place to.visit. We often meet friends family here . Wonderful parkland and lakes. Cafe and restaurant are excellent. Child and family orientated with good disabled facilities too. The little Garden centre is packed full of goodies very reasonable prices lots to choice . The shops are great lots of gifts choices and Rose Garden little tea room area is quaint within the shop area
