Restaurant bewertenThis restaurant is located in a volk that does not look so wonderfully on the street, except the constant flow of the strange (on a beautiful wise) and the wonderful people that attracts it against. eating was excellent, service very good and recommended for a reasonable price.
We visit ibiza port and came over restaurant el passadis, and much to our surprise, that was one of the best dinners we ever had during the trip in Europe. we thought our trip would only include Spanish cuisine as we travel in Spain. but after we sit together with carmen and their very friendly and attentive team, we found that this Italian menu was more than we could ask on every trip. the ravioli with goat cheese, aubergine and sun-dried tomaten was the best and also after the order other items for the escape, I expressed that more traditional italian and our server brought spaghetti carbonara that was out of the charts. By the way, all employees in this restaurant are so personal and sweet, making the experience all the better. we met the chef who is new in the restaurant so we could know how much we appreciate his talent and his effort. for our escape we had laughs and the sea bass. how could eating be better?....but it did. to round it off, we enjoyed tiramisu, which tasted better than anyone I ever had (and I am Italian-American). carmen and team have treated us so well and we are so happy that we are over. can not wait to return for more! when they are in ibiza, visit them carmen for an amazing meal they will not forget.
We visited the restaurant for dinner a few days ago, eating was really bad and the service even bad. the owner has many settings, for nothing. we ordered thunfish, that was not fresh and a risotto that was not tasted and overlooked. as. we were asked how to eat on a friendly way we answered back, that was not as great and the owner started like a show about how amazing everything is there. she has not apologized, and when we asked for the bill, we had to ask for the money. really bad eating and service.
We visit ibiza city every year, but had never tried this restaurant before. four of us felt that the portions were tiny and inspiring tasteful. the worst was the service. the owner and the personal were all too pre-occupied with friends to serve...us it took a record request for the bill before one of us had to go physically into the kitchen to get someone to produce them, and since we were the only table in this point, there was simply no excuse for it. yes, ibiza is covered and fabulous, but there are plenty better restaurants to step back and enjoy the mood (together with great food and service so instead of supporting someone who clearly does not give any of the other places on the same road for a better meal and better service. this turned out to be the most expensive and disappointing of all our meals on the island.
I love dining out in this part of the Ibiza old town, with outdoor dining along car-free, stone-paved streets, and Carmen's is a great place to enjoy this atmosphere. Carmen herself is often there, meeting the guests and talking with them about the food, and...she adds wonderful warmth and character to the experience. Everyone seems to get a kick out of the menu presentation by which I mean they bring the giant chalkboard menu from the wall and prop it on a chair near your table! The menu features quality ingredients freshly prepared, and they were quite accommodating in adapting some items to be vegetarian for me. I enjoyed a great two-part salad, one half cold with fresh greens and avocado, and the other warm with couscous and lightly cooked vegetables. The entree was delicious mozzarella-stuffed gnocchi in a creamy tomato sauce with asparagus and other vegetables. Dessert was the only slight disappointment; the chef's tiramisu served parfait-style was fine, but unremarkable. The overall bill seemed a little high, but largely because Carmen did such a good job convincing me to try things from her menu. The rest of the menu features many meat and fresh seafood dishes, and I'm sure omnivores will find many things that appeal. Overall, I had a wonderful time even dining there by myself, and it would have been an even more enjoyable experience with friends. I look forward to returning there again the next time I'm fortunate enough to get back to Ibiza.
