Restaurant bewertenIt is fantastic that a small village pub has a separate vegan menu with many choices. the place was beautiful, with friendly and attentive staff. I had the shallow mushroom red pfeffer root burger' (it is not at all a burger, only a piece of mushroom, a bit of red pfeffer and a piece of beet root in a bunk, but still pleasant) with a side of the crispy tofu chips (not crippled in the smallest, very soft, but beautiful enough, independent) and my manF had the banana chips. I had been eating envy to be honest. I would go back if I ever were back in this part of the world.
Delicious meal and many choices! mushrooms and spinat on toast and banana blossom fish was unrealistic! also the engraving was vegetarian! reasonable prices and just beautiful!
The stanhill pub is an unlikely place to find vegan options, but proves the growing popularity of veganism. the stanhill has recently introduced a vegan menu, which is also not a tokengeste, but well thought out with creative feed. I had a chat with chef chef nathan by e-mail before our visit to my allergies and was impressed by his answer and geduld with my asking. we were shown to a cozy table for two and had a quiet drink while we went through the menu and chose appetizers of mushroom and spinat bruschetta for me and lauch and kartoffel soup for naves. our appetizers were excellent, the suppe was thick and velvety, the mushrooms were perfectly cooked and the food was well seasoned. I knew which main course hubby would choose as he loved tofu and although my intention was to have the vegan fish and chips, I chose the gnocchi. the most important courses as the appetizers were absolutely spot on, packed with big aromen and quickly torn off, although I left a little gnocchi as it was a big part. my experience surpassed my expectations, so many menus sound promising and are a complete one can be eaten, but not in stanhill. I had a quick word with the house manager sam, who said that the vegan menu was popular with not only vegan, but also not vegan. I think the fact that they offer the vegan menu for all customers and is not hidden as many places, is a great idea. my only light critique is his shame that the weeping list does not contain vegan friendly wee, so I have made a photo and will explore before my next visit, but hope the stanhill will look for the future. I will definitely return sooner than later, as there are so many dishes I want to try, as well as hubby. highly recommended.
The tofu fish and chips are amazing!! The vegan menu is fantastic.
While we were in Oswaldtwistle for a couple of weeks, we decided to give the vegan pub food at Stanhill a try. They offer a separate vegan menu with a variety of options for starters, main dishes, and desserts. We enjoyed the tasty and shareable mushrooms on sourdough starter. The banana blossom "fish" was unique, although the batter was a bit too heavy for my liking. It's worth a try if you're in the mood for a vegan version of fish and chips. Overall, Stanhill is a great spot for vegan dining.
