Cam's Ham - Huntington

I had a fantastic ham sandwich and onion rings at Cams. Everything was hot and fresh. The portions were very generous, and the food tasted like it was made at home. This place truly feels like a local gem. Thank you, Cams!

The food was delicious, but I was disappointed to pay an additional $2.25 for just two small condiment cups of extra sauce. I'm okay with paying a little extra, but $2.25 feels excessive for such a small amount of sauce.

A true family favorite! I can barely remember my first visit to this charming, old-fashioned sandwich shop. Stepping inside feels like taking a trip back in time, and the nostalgia really wraps around you as you enjoy the ambiance. Whether it's busy or quiet, the service is quick, thanks to the ample friendly staff available. Their ham sandwiches are exceptional—brilliantly made and every bite is packed with flavor. The onion rings are just as fantastic, crispy and perfectly seasoned. I highly recommend checking it out! I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in town!

Here's another example of the common problem of poor service in restaurants. While the food was decent and met the typical expectations for taste and quality, I encountered issues with my takeout order. I traveled to Cam's during lunchtime to pick up sandwiches for our office, only to discover that two items were missing. One of my coworkers had specifically requested that the Cam sauce be placed on the side for their ham sandwich, a detail that was noted on the bag I received. Unfortunately, the sauce was missing. This forced me to make another trip from Lavalette to retrieve it. There was no offer of compensation for this mistake—not that I expected one—but given that our office of five chose to order from Cam's, the service should have reflected that. It might be some time before I think about returning to Cam's.

The staff at this diner were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere is wonderfully cozy.
