Roasting Water - Huntington Beach

I arrived at 9:05am on a Monday. Granted it was early, the worker told me they didn't have boba. I've never experienced a boba shop opening their doors without boba prepared. I ordered my drink and stepped outside to wait for my order (to avoid unnecessary covid exposure). I waited THIRTY MINUTES for my drink and went inside to check up on my order -after seeing another customer, who ordered after me, receive their drink- only to find mines sitting on the counter. It was not busy at all, so I would've thought the guy working could've at least stepped outside to let me know my drink was ready. Extremely customer service in my opinion. Drink was ok, not worth coming back.

Just realized I should be leaving a review for this place seeing as a how I come here every Friday for the last half a year or so. When I first started coming here I didn't expect to become a Friday regular, I just wanted to get coffee at a place that was cheaper than Starbucks that had strong coffee. My go to drink here is the Vietnamese coffee but they also have a really good teas and other drinks. I really like the shop it's super cute but most of all I really enjoy coming every Friday and talking to Eric, he's very personal and I'm a creature of habit so at this point he practically knows my order which I love, my other Go to is the caramel macchiato. If you're ever in the area and just looking for something cool to drink, you should definitely come here!

I miss this Roasting Water Pre Covid. Every time I go either they're out of boba or they don't have a certain ingredient for a drink I want. Still a great spot. Their hours on google are also off. Sometimes they're closed sometimes they're not.

Do not be fooled, this may look like a smaller Roasting Water compared to the other locations, but there is plenty of seating upstairs for you to enjoy your boba. I feel like the parking at this location is more limited since it is located in a strip plaza. My go to drink is definitely their jasmine milk tea with boba and sometimes I would get a jasmine green tea to go for the road. The workers are not as attentive and friendly as the other 5-6 locations that I had been to, but this is probably my favorite one solely because of the Rilakkuma stairs (hence the 4 stars).
