Restaurant bewertenMediocre coffee, unfriendly staff, bagel took ten minutes.Food: 3/5
You’re serving coffee, not great by any measure, and you tell customers they can’t use the bathroom because it’s not for the public?Service: 1/5
At Java Point is just crazy cool. This little coffee shop combined two of my favorite things: coffee and surf boards. In honesty I'm more a fan of the boards than the coffee! Also, you don't actually buy the boards from Java Point, but since it's located inside HSS (Huntington Surf and Sport) you kind of can't avoid them.Java Point offers a good selection of coffee and teas and it's currently my daughter's favorite place for chai. I'm not a big fan of chai, but she says it's one of the best in the area. They also have small pastries and may even do some lighter meals, think sandwiches and the like. Just be careful not to knock on the glass as it scares the donuts (iykyk). So if you need a cup of coffee and a light snack and love surf and the beach, head to Java Point. I think you'll like it. You can even take your coffee right across PCH and walk the Huntington Beach pier while you enjoy it!Vegetarian options: They have some great pastries that i believe are vegetarian.Kid-friendliness: Kids will love this place, lots of things to explore.Parking: There's a lot of parking options and if you are ok with walking a ways there are some free options too.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes it is.Dietary restrictions: There are a couple different GF options available in the pastry section as well.
Stopped by HSS for some surf wax. Had to grab a coffee on the way out. Grace made me a delicious iced vanilla latte with their specialty brown sugar. Make sure to stop by Java point when walking down town.
On vacation from NY very impressed by the bagels and coffee. Love how it’s in a surf shop as well
