Cinco De Mayo Mexican Grill - Hueytown

This place used to be my favorite. They have jacked up prices so much ,it's crazy. $1 for a slice of lime ? the turn over rate is outrageous and for a regular, is extremely annoying. I can only ask for the same thing so many times before I'm tired of asking for it and will just take my business else where. A salt shaker... I asked before I got my chips and salsa, after I got them, again before I got my drink, and again before I got my food. I literally eat and drink the same thing everytime I go there, and it used to be at the table with my drink with great service. Now you are lucky to have someone even hear the words come out of your mouth but they want to check on you 20 times while you try to eat. ?‍it's just not worth the 30 bucks for a drink and some cheese dip with meat and pico mixed in.

Food is a little above average for a Mexican place because they do have a wide variety. Service is not as quick as it should be, we waited too long for them to take our order after drinks were served and the place was not busy since we were in there after 3.

I normally have no issues coming here but today was disappointing.I asked for the molcajete with corn tortillas but got flour tortillas instead not only that my side salad and beans seem to just be small serving for a toddler.I also got the chicken and rice with cheese dip and my rice and chicken doesn’t even seem to have gotten a scoop of cheese dipTake out

I love this restaurant but the last 3 orders I have had missing items I paid for ....it's just little stuff but it adds up

I went today on my lunch break , I did a call in order I was told my food would be ready in 10 minutes I got there in 15 and it still wasn’t ready . Once I paid for my food the girl never took my order to the back the manager came out 5 minutes later and ask for my receipt to go make the order . The food still wasn’t right $15.00 dollars for nachos and they only had like 10 chips I paid extra for jalapeño that they didn’t put on there and when I called back he told me that the did put jalapeño on there I told them they are bell peppers he yelled to the kitchen to ask them what did they put on it then get bk on the phone and say he watched them himself and I asked them why u just asked . I hung up the phone the food use to be good and the service but now I will not go back .
