Restaurant bewertenEnjoyed spending my birthday dinner here. I really enjoyed the service and food.We will definitely be coming backFood: 5/5
Came here for my friends graduation celebration! Food was okay, decor was nice, the company the best. Can be a wait at times. 4/5
Parking lot is a decent size but can get filled up fast. The restaurant inside looks a lot bigger than it looks from the outside. If you’re wondering this place is great for big groups and have a great amount of tables for smaller parties. If you went on a very hot summer day like us, their restrooms are cold like a freezer haha!Server was really attentive and checked on our table frequently. Didn’t feel rushed to order even though we order a few items at a time.I personally am not a fan of salty egg yolk so the corn was a no for me, but my group loved it. The tea jasmine smoked duck was too salty and none of us cared for it. I thought the red chili dumpling would be spicy but the Chicken Makes Mouth Watering was spicier! If you like spicy I would highly suggest you trying Chicken Makes Mouth Watering, it was spicy and delicious. It’s like the Taiwanese popcorn chicken but with EXTRA chili! Absolutely LOVED the both the xlb. The broth on the shrimp xlb was very flavorful even though I wish that same broth was used in the pork one it was good still. None of the group cared for the colorful assorted dumplings. Next time we go I think our main dish would be the xlb and the chicken.
You can't go wrong ordering their classics or even adventuring outside of the usual. We shared all the dishes and they were ALL fantastic!Their sticky rice cubes dessert is a must try.
I lived in China for 10 years. To say that I miss authentic Chinese food is an understatement. Everything I’ve tried here is unbelievable. The xiaolongbao skin is super thin which you can’t find at many places. The shengjianbao is also excellent. Highly recommend this place. It’s what I’m most excited about whenever I’m traveling to Houston for work.
