Cavatore Italian Restaurant - Houston

Very rustic character/Charm, a great place for great Italian cuisine! our food and service were both excellent, and the pianist was nice background music. if they have small children, they get to make their own pizza! the dough is rolled on a wooden board with small keepers of sose, cheese and pfefferoni as soon as it takes the waiter to bake it back.

Great food! We had to wait a long time for some reason (over 30 minutes) for the food. Service was great as usual!

We called to say we were delayed by 10 minutes and when we arrived they put us in a back room with children and their parents. Felt like we were at a pizzeria, when in fact it is a very nice restaurant. Two nice rooms had open tables (and most of the same tables were still empty when we left an hour and a half later. It was New Year’s Eve and we were very nicely dressed to attend a party after and it seemed like we were being punished for being late. Otherwise, the waiters were attentive and professional. And the food was excellent,

I've been going to Cavatore for many years. I have taken many friends here and I've never been disappointed
