Restaurant bewertenMatcha is fantastic and they offer gluten-free options. I highly recommend trying the gluten-free lemon poppyseed bread. Overall, I rate the food 5 out of 5.
Blacksmith is one of my favorite coffee shops in Houston. Not only is their coffee great, but their food is leagues above other coffee shops. Their Vietnamese steak and eggs is my favorite on the menu and rivals some of the most authentic shops in Chinatown. The sitting area is a great place to get some work done, and it stays quiet enough on weekdays to be effectiveParking: Parking is partially under construction, so right now it’s a bit of a pain. Having a truck and parking in handicap, it took multiple attempts to get out with the construction in the way. However, I do not hold that against the restaurant
So I definitely thought they were closed the past few years because the old parking lot has been dug up, the building has been graffitied, and the shades they put up made it look shuttered, but there's actually a new parking lot behind it! There was plenty of parking when we went on the weekend in the afternoon.Biscuits are still great, coffee is still great, and seasonal selections are fun and interesting.Menu was moved to kind of a weird spot (there may be people sitting directly in front of the menu wall so it feels like you're staring at them) but staff were helpful in navigating and clarifying the menu items for us folks with dietary restrictions.
I personally though this place had one of the best iced lattes I've tastes. Unfortunately didn't get to try food besides some pastries but they were delicious. Parking is at the back and gets full quite easily since it's not huge. Had both indoor and outdoor seating. Didn't like the Togo iced coffee cup though . But that's nothing majorFood: 5/5
Best experience at a coffee shop. Such a sweet and comfy place. The bacon, egg, and cheese croissant was the best I've ever had and the staff was amazing.
