Mj's Eatery - Houghton Lake

I wanted to visit some friends in the north and decided to give MJ's an attempt, boy I'm so glad we did. We couldn't get enough of the big kitchen and friendly staff! We are here 4 nights from 5 AMAZING!

Delicious food, excellent service. Fast service. I would definitely return if I'm in the area.

We were in town for a wedding so I dropped my husband Mark and a his buddy Mike off at the golf course and the golf course told me about MJs for breakfast. The food was great and the service was wonderful! Two locals, older gentleman, and I started talking and they asked me to join them! How nice is that! When I picked the boys up from golf, I took them back there for lunch. When the employees saw me, I told them I'd put the guys in a time machine and this is what the used to look like! We all had a laugh. Mike waited on us, the owners son, and he was friendly and fun, too. What a nice way to start my day with great food and friendly, welcoming locals. Thanks to all.

We just moved here from Colorado. Thought we'd try this place out for breakfast. We bought our first house in Higgins Lake and I'm starting to regret that decision because we aren't closer to this place. Amazing portions, amazing food, and the service was so friendly and fast!!! Krystal was just an incredible server. We will be back! Found our new place!
