Restaurant bewertenSpending the week in Warm Springs and not much is open from Monday thru Wednesday around here but, Lindsay's was open. Ordered the burger with onion rings. The burger was good with fresh bun, crisp lettuce and grilled onions. The onion rings were crispy and hot. Small bar and grill and friendly service. The only draw back is that you must pay with cash or Venmo. No credit cards.
We visited Hot Springs and had lunch at Lindsay's Roost. What a wonderful experience. We met Lindsay, she made our kids experience memorable. Highly recommended if you are in the area. Great service and food. Good, cozy place all around.
Friendly staff. Awesome homemade food: chicken salad croissant with chips and cheeseburger with onion rings. Onion rings were mouth-watering delicious. Highly recommend
My husband and I drove about 35 minutes up to Hot Springs last night with the intention of eating at the brewery. When we arrived, the brewery had music and WAY too many people so we discussed going back home to eat but instead found Lindsay 's. We 've been in Hot Springs several times and had never really stumbled in there until now. Let me start by saying- hole in the wall, homey, and mom pop restaurants are my absolute FAVORITE. They come with a certain charm that you 're guaranteed not to find anywhere else. Upon going in my husband looked at me and said these are your kind of people. Meaning he knew I 'd love it there! There was a table of folks sitting in the front room laughing and talking. They welcomed us in with open arms and said to have a seat anywhere we 'd like. We sat down, met Mr. Lindsay and ordered our food. He was kind, friendly, and funny! He made us feel welcome. While waiting on our food, Mr. Lindsay showed us some of his collection around the restaurant and told us stories of the past. He made an effort to connect with us and get to know us. We made friends with all the local people dining, Mr. Lindsay, Mrs. Lindsay, and her brother. They were all so welcoming and kind. Our food came, he checked on us quickly and many times during our meal. Another gentleman came in and ordered a piece of cake- and well, I had to have one too! Mr. Lindsay makes the cakes himself and I had a Lindsay cake. The slice was HUGE and absolutely DELICIOUS. I paid and tipped and we prepared to leave. Upon leaving Mr. Lindsay remembered we had kids, took dollars from his money and put them in the ducky claw machine so we could take home small souvenirs for our babies! It was an absolute delight to visit and we WILL be back!
Food is good. Owners are nice. It's down the beaten path little hard to figure out how exactly to enter the building down the side street
