Restaurant bewertenWe've done take out there a couple of times. The menu has a bit of a split personality. The Lo Mein noodles are excellent, the Fried Rice is very American. Haven't tried anything else yet. Prices are reasonable for this day and age and its location in downtown Hopkins is very good.
This review is about the pho and only the pho.Meh,Nothing special. For 14 dollars you are given a medium sized bowl half full and the worlds smallest plate of fixings. The meat quality is sub par. The broth is fresh but a bit salty and missing its signature dominance of aromatics. I was the only one sitting down for an early lunch at 5pm on a Tuesday. Should have taken that as advice to not eat here.If you’re craving pho you’re better off going up 169 and hitting Szechuan restaurant for theirs instead. More portion, better pho, for less money.
You gotta try their egg rolls huge and absolutely delicious. The entrees are also delicious with very generous portions. The staff was super nice and excellent service. Will definitely make this one of my regular Vietnamese places!
First of all I loved the ambiance and vibe. Food was good too. Their iced coffee is great. A great place for a date as well.
I like this place. I live nearby, and so it is easy to stop here. This place has a connection to the former Eden Prairie C R Bay. But not identical menu.I generally like the menu choices and the food, with one exception. The fish sauce (center of all Vietnamese eating) is not great to me. Too sweet, not tart enough, not fishy enough, and not at all spicy. This is a Midwest version of fish sauce that has lost most of the goodness. I have been tempted to bring some from home. The spice range here goes from not detectable to a little warm. Maybe another Midwest adaptation?Oh well, the menu items are good and worth a go. Environment is comfortable. Staff is always very good. If you are a perfectionist, bring your own nuc mam.
