Restaurant bewertenMy parents adore this restaurant. They enjoy everything related to fishing and seafood. I like it here as well. I appreciate the round tables and its location by the gallery, plus it’s conveniently situated right off the interstate. The food is consistently high quality, and the prices are reasonable. The service is always excellent and friendly; they quickly address any issues that arise. We usually order two of the large fried platters, which is more than enough to feed the four of us, especially when we add some appetizers. I really hope this place stays in business.
The baked potato I received seemed like it was baked the night before; it was discolored and only lukewarm. The fried okra was good, and the server was polite, but we didn’t receive any water or extra napkins. The most frustrating part was a large party in a private area that wasn’t soundproofed at all. It was a birthday celebration, and there were kids squealing and causing a ruckus for about 45 minutes, likely egged on by some inconsiderate adults. You could see the discomfort on everyone’s faces. While I don’t fault the restaurant for the loud party, it would be nice if they had better soundproofing or policies in place to manage such situations. Overall, it was a mixed experience.
I dropped in for a quick lunch and ordered the angel oysters and George's Kobe burger. The oysters were fantastic, and the burger was juicy and cooked perfectly.
The servers at this restaurant are friendly, authentic, and truly enjoyable to be around. They make each visit something to look forward to. The seafood is always prepared nicely, though I wish there was more variety on the menu. For a more laid-back experience, I highly recommend sitting on the patio.
Celebrating oyster season! My dad and I had lunch at The Fish Market, which is owned by the renowned local restaurateur George Sarris. They offer a variety of delicious seafood dishes...
