Miyako Japanese - Honolulu

Overall we had a really nice meal. The food was excellent. The service was quite slow even though the restaurant wasn’t busy and it took a long time to clear our table. Everyone was very pleasant though and it was quite an enjoyable meal. We ordered the sashimi, fried oysters, tempura, the agedashi and wagyu beef.

This restaurant is one of local people’s favorite place. We also visit there regularly, so staffs are very friendly and their Japanese foods are always best in Honolulu. Specially, Misoyaki Butter fish is awesome. Please try it. Early bird special available. Parking validation available. Just 5 minutes by taxi from center of Waikiki. Kaimana beach locates in front of this hotel, new Otani that is why sunset evening dinner is best. Reservation recommended.

The entire staff was attentive, helpful, and friendly. The food was very good. I would recommend this place to others.

We were disappointed with the menu choices and the room had no ambience or good feeling at all. There were only a few dinners it felt quite lonely. In fact after looking at the menu we didn't order left

Good ocean views, seating and service. I mentioned that we were celebrating my husband’s birthday. I was disappointed that there was no acknowledgment of his special day.
