Restaurant bewertenThe best lobster I have ever tried. We ordered 2 lobsters, cooked in different way, both taste are fantastic. Beijing Duck is also good, whole duck is too much for 4 persons, fried rice and sautéed spinach are also delicious.
Came here on a Sunday evening 530 reservation. Place is at full capacity. Seated quickly after they setup and cleaned off the table. No water or tea served and noticed many servers running around but no person offering service to our table. Lucky my outspoken aunty was here to vocalize the lack of service. Waitin... waiting...uuuhhhh... Two pots of tea finally. Took our order and about 15 minutes later food came. Tip: be rude to servers, any server and demand to get your order taken or you can eat wind for dinner . No joke, being civil or with aloha gets you zero respect here. Rough attitude tita action is a must. Deep fried intestines w sweet sour sauce 4 stars but not my thang. Crispy pork chops 4.5 stars, tasty soft. Oysters in sauce 5 stars and best of the evening, huge, juicy fresh! Lobster done 2 ways, delish 4.5 stars Clams in white wine 5 stars, strong wine flavors covered in spring onion and cilantro so delightful. White fish w veggies and shroomers,5 stars. Noodles w beef,4 stars lots of flavor. Finished with piping hot red bean soup dessert. Meh Food here is great but service no good. Chefs here are great but management needs to fire all the wait help and start from scratch. They are fighting over how not to serve customers here. Pushing one another no you go no I 'm not going to serve that table , you go ! I understand the servers speaking in Chinese) Real disrespectful attitude and they do not deserve any tip. 5 stars if you like to be treated this way. Life is too short to be aggravated over dinner. We agreed never to step foot here ever again. 4.5 star foods minus stars for service =2.5 stars. You have been warned. Tip: if you are not vaccinated and do not have a card, no worries. Did not check ID or vaccination card here. Not 1 person was checked all evening as I was observing. Yikes!!! They do not care here obviously.
The most authentic Mandarin Cuisine in Hawaii. No better place to eat Family style Chinese dining
My favorite restaurant on the island! Everything was delicious and I would definitely come back to eat here again. Make sure you get a reservation because it?s always full but you will not be disappointed because the food is great!
We are tourist visiting Hawaii from the US mainland. We want to try some authentic Chinese Food and were reading some of these reviews here that mostly said the food was great but the service was bad. We decided to give it a try and to the contrary, the service was actually excellent. We arrived at 6pm on a Tuesday evening and was promptly seated. The waiter was very polite and gave us suggestions. Food came very quickly and it was delicious. The fried rice was done correct with good wok hey . We tried the fried oster and the batter crust was just right, not too thick and very crunchy. Oster was fat and delicious. Having tried a lot of authentic cantonese chinese restaurants, in Toronto, Vancouver, Hong Kong, Chicago, etc, this place is totally up to par. We were also watching how they served other tables and I am not seeing any bad experience between the service staff and other customers. Everyone seemed to be enjoying their meals and having a good time. On to the bill, we specifically watch for added tips as some were complaining here and we found none. Actually we found the prices are very reasonable, especially for Hawaii as most restaurants seem to be more expensive than on the mainland US side. In summary, we enjoyed our dinner. The food was very authentic, fresh and tasty, the service was good and the value is very good.
