Restaurant bewertenFries reheated and heavily salted. Sandwich meats no flavor but salt. Today’s meal was a big disappointment and so many food options nearby.
The only problem my group had was that you had to scan a QR code to get the menu and pay. Everyone has a phone but not everyone, especially older people don't understand the QRC technology. I had to place and pay for the meals for my group because the others couldn't figure out the system. The food was good but not served as I expected. I ordered a gyro sandwich plate. Expecting a gyro, instead I got a plate withe ingredients for a gyro with the pita bread cut into small wedges so it was more like I had to make tiny gyro snack sandwiches or pita dip.
We had a girls reunion and ended up staying here for hours. Such a charming place with excellent food. A big thank you to Mr.Duck for being so kind and hospitable and allowing us to spend hours there, so us girls could catch up in our ole stomping grounds.
Food leaves SO much to be desired.. my grilled vegetables were swimming in oil. My falafel sandwich was super dry. I had to drink 2 glasses of water to finish it. Friends ordered moussaka. It was a plate of sauce… Quaint little place for locals within walking distance. But food quality is serious lacking. I live 5 minutes away. Will not be returning.
Used to be my go to place, but was disappointed in revisiting after a few years. The goat cheese salad was dismal even after adding “extra goat cheese,” it came with barely any cheese and with cold, sad precooked grilled chicken. The lettuce was also wilted and unfortunate. Need more photos on their menu, which is awkwardly digital now and not the best. Could make an effort to offer more gluten free options as well.
