Grillin Chillin Alehouse - Hollister

3 stars because the food was pretty good. Service on the other side... was there 5/6 weeks ago on Wednesday night (live band night). Three people work as far as I could say. A woman behind the bar, a female server and a male server. The women's server coughed and checked all their tables. The male server (our) failed wrong. He stopped at a table with middle women and flirted. I was literally sitting there watching him lean on the table, laughing, flirting while waiting for him to come by. He forgot our drinks, forget, come back and check. He never brought our check, even if he took our plates. I did it and we sat there for 20 minutes before we decided to go to the register and say I would like to pay. It was again 3 weeks later, the same guy server, same problems. The female server was crying again, but the guy was nowhere to find. Forgotten drinks, did not come back to check... The other location is another ride, Union Rd and 156 highway, but the service there is so much better.

If you're here for the beer, it's great! The food is tasteless and neat, I'm sorry!

The waitress argued with me about the food... we ordered Fritten and they were burned and cold and tasty... but above all the waitress treated me terrible... she blamed me that she didn't know they had no fried food. I told her when we first came that it was our first time. How would I know they bake their pommes, but does that mean they get burned and cold? According to the waitress, it was. I asked a server to help me and he was very friendly. I never got a bill, but was told to pay at the bar and have no idea what I paid because I never got a bill. When I went to the bar to pay, I had a guy right beside me what I paid and when I tipped or not. I've tipped 25% because she felt so terrible! If you are not going to eat, the beer is what they are known for. I was with my children.

Pricey. Took over an hour to get food once ordered. Wasn't worth the wait. Mcdonalds has better burgers. The woman owner is very dishonest and lacks morals and ethics. Horrible person

Live music (No Vendetta was playing classic rock) and tasty food in a space that allows all ages. I had the caprese burger and tater tots; tasty food- not cheap, but food costs have gone up everywhere, friendly service, and there was no cover. I'd definitely go again for live music. Note: you might want to bring earplugs since that space doesn't have a lot to absorb the sound.
