Great food, wine, service and ambience! We really enjoyed our evening!

Superb! Just superb food (the cheese board and lamb special were highlights), the service was excellent, and overall evening just delightful! I'd highly recommend it (and was glad to have made a reservation).

We three had a lovely high table on the patio (the California table, according to our waitress) and an unrushed meal of cheese plate (delectable), fried chicken, baby back ribs, and salmon cooked on a plank, plus one ice cream sandwich split 3 ways. The salmon came with wonderful zucchini spaghetti and sauteed grape tomatoes. All the food was good, although the charred artichoke accompanying the salmon was mostly too tough to eat. Our waitress, Laurie, was excellent: pleasant, helpful, attentive, and personable. We will ask to be put at one of her tables next time--especially an outside table, because we overheard other patrons who were leaving the dining room talking about how hot it had been inside. This restaurant will become a fixture in our annual friendship reunion on Winnipesaukee.

I've eaten here 3 times in 2 years while on vacation in Holderness. It is lovely place to dine, especially if the weather is nice, so you can sit outdoors. Fun drinks, great food variety and unusual dishes that you can't ordinarily get at other places.

Squam Lake Inn Kitchen and Bar never disappoints. Starting with the great wine list, custom and innovative cocktails and a relaxed friendly atmosphere this is a must visit in the Central Lakes Region of NH. Oysters were just right with the proper sides, our meals were spectacular. I had the swordfish with majestic caprese salad and my friend had the salmon. Clean plates. We moved to the bar for dessert and a cocktail. This is a great place, the owner is in the kitchen, the quality is outstanding and consistent with great variety. Just don't take my seat at the end of the bar....
