Greek Islands - Holbrook

Called to find out what the gyro platter included and was told meat, rice, pita and 2 sides. I ordered 1 to be delivered...was told about an hour for delivery...took over 1 1/2 hrs! No rice and the 2 greek salads as sides were in the same tin. Some of the meat was charred and could not eat it. Not a great portion size and no rice! When I called to tell them, the girl said it didn't come with rice! Was not impressed and would not order from them again!!

I love greek food ive been to Greece, i order it when i go Bayside queens all the time, my best friends greek also. Today Order moussaka and Spanakopita as an appetizer.. wife order stuffed eggplant.. both were made of frozen spinach. Absolutely disgusting worst Greek food I ever had.. My kid had a kidz pizza and he didnt like it either..

8/6/22 The pale blonde girl at the register is extremely rude!! Hire someone without a nasty attitude to paying customers. Get off your high horse. We will no longer be dining here and we will make sure our family/friends do the same.

My husband and I love their gyros platter. Huge portions. I asked for their yummy lemon potatoes instead of fries and they gave it to me. Been here 3 times since moving back to Long Island from Maryland. My husband never tasted awesome gyros like Greek Island. We like it here, I was reading some reviews, the owners are hard working men, they do everything, I mean cut them a break. We usually get them to smile but I get it, their tired, hot, and running all over. I got them some slack. I do agree though that instead of news on TV play some Greek music. Change the atmosphere to more upbeat. My only criticism but not a complaint because we love the food here.

They don?t give cream for coffee so I got mine black never a call asking me if I wanted something else! Then the salad almost 20 dollars had a few slices of steak and made with cheep iceberg lettuce. I won?t order from here again.
