Zest - The Library Cafe - Hobart

I enjoyed a coffee with a toasted slice of banana bread and cinnamon toast, both with butter. They were delicious, and the coffee was fresh and hot. The prices were very reasonable for a city cafe. The service was excellent, as the gentleman made suggestions and helped me decide. He was smiling, patient, and friendly. I couldn't have asked for anything more.

I always enjoy stopping by this place for a coffee, smoothie, or snack before going to the Hobart library next door. The owner and staff are always friendly.

This is my favorite lunch spot in Hobart. The service is fast and friendly, the owner always remembers me and greets me with a hello. I really enjoy the lunch specials, especially when they have gnocchi on the menu. I always make sure to meet a friend for lunch whenever I see it on offer!

I've never seen such a worst place. the owner is very aggressive, irrational and looks like a pampered braid. nasty comments about customers, argumentation and at the end I left and my colleagues. there are many caffes in hobart and they are not really...probing when they end up at this site!. for your own soul peace, stay away. eating is tasteless, the service bad and nothing is unforgettable, except the worst caffe man in the city!.

This was our third trip to zest, as she discovered it before the covid 19 lockdowns. the manager (again) remembered not only us, but he remembered my favourite dish! we both ordered the best panini we met. relaxed atmosphere, beautiful staff and excellent service. my Chinese woman loves this Italian menu. zest is our choice for breakfast, brunch and lunch. the food and the ingredients are just beautiful. now, with an Italian who are responsible, they can have full confidence in their ability to serve the best.
