Restaurant bewertenStopped because of an interesting menu claiming fresh fish.....seafood platter had good fish but not so with scallops and shrimp.....really wasn't sure what the other piece was. Not impressed by the service either, slow even though they weren' busy.
Great little cafe located in central city in Centrepoint arcade perfect for catching up over lunch. Pleasant service and a great menu. Pasta was fresh and tasty. Recommended.
Stumbled on this place coming away from the crowded mess of Salamanca Markets. Had their $9.90 Sweet Chili base Pizza and an $6 Iced Vanilla Latte. The Iced Latte was better than room temperature, not as cold as I'd like it, but serviceable. The SWP was tasty enough but small. The Young Waitress that serviced my table was smiling and eager to take my table's orders, as it all should be. Nice relaxing Lunch away from the crowds of a Salamanca Saturday. Overall Average to Good. Service: 3.2/5 Food: 3.5/5 Value: 2.0/5 Not a budget eatery. My Dad's Burger was small-ish and around $12 without chips.
I wasn't holding out much hope considering this place had been booked by one of the family as a quick catch up for around 12 of us over lunch but it was perfect. the café is located on the lower level of Centrepoint and is usually ignored as people quickly walk through the shopping centre on the ground or 1st floor. This place is obviously well patronised by those in the know and we'll definitely be stopping in when we're in town. The service is quick, the food and coffee are good and the price is reasonable. I had the angus burger with chips. the burger was very good, juicy with the right amount of mayo / relish and the chips were seasoned with chicken salt (I think). put it this way I had to slap the hands of many cousins / brothers to ensure I didn't loose too many chips.
Horrible, horrible, horrible. Went for lunch with my husband. Ordered our meals. I had chicken grilled toastie and my husband spaghetti bol. We also ordered a skinny cappuccino and a fruit juice. The drinks came out with hot chocolate instead of coffee. Sent back. Whilst we waited the lady wa serving others and she knocked a bottle of water on top of some patrons. My meal arrived - no cutlery. Had to ask. My husbands was a no show. Finally it arrived for a cafe called Amalfi serving spaghetti Bol you think it would be OK. WRONG. Revolting. The sauce had been so watered down you could hardly see any red of tomatoes. My husband couldn't eat it all. The people next to us also had their drinks order mixed up. There are other places to go. Stay away
