Absolutely great tavern located close to Prague Castle, excellent food, reasonable prices and a cosy atmosphere. Can't go wrong with their beer, and a seat reservation is recommended as it does get quite busy. Food was traditional and quite delicious

Delicious food and fresh beer, what else u need. I had BBQ pork with dumpling and it was really great. They have lot have tables which were reserved so i had to sit downstairs which was bit cold. Service was really quick. Ambience was also old dungeon type. Also will find cool posters in the men’s washroom

Great spot for local cuisine! I got the Svickova and it was fabulous! Service was extremely fast! I am a tourist but it seemed as if locals were enjoying lunch at the same time as I, which I appreciated. 255kc or about €10.7 was very reasonable for a hearty lunch near the bridge. Would recommend!

This is definitely a place to go to if you do not want to be surrounded by tourists. Located only steps away from the Karl 's Bridge, you will find one of many Lokál restaurant locations. They serve very good local Czech food and amazing draft beer, with the price for both food and beer being very affordable. I can definitely recommend Freshly Minced Beef Tartar with Fried Bread . The atmosphere was very authentic and welcoming, and one can really tell that almost all the guests were Czech. If you want to have a real Czech pub experience, you should definitely come here!

The meat was so tender that it fell apart instantly in my mouth. The dumplings were really soft and tasty. What surprised me was that mixing the cranberry jam with the sauce added so much flavor to a different level and I loved it! This was the best meal I’ve had in Prague.
