Restaurant bewertenI recently moved to Colorado and have been missing the delicious restaurants back home. I have been searching for a good chicken restaurant with no luck until I returned to Texas and found Chicken E’s. I couldn't get enough of their fried chicken and okra during my three-day visit. My kids also enjoyed their chicken strips and nuggets. The portions are generous and the quality of the food is still top-notch, which is hard to come by these days. Their iced tea is also excellent. My only complaint is that I am currently craving their food but they are closed now. I know what I'll be getting tomorrow. I highly recommend giving them a try, as you will surely become a fan as well.
I will not be returning to this restaurant. Firstly, the woman taking my order at the drive-thru was incredibly rude and then made me wait in a parking space for my food. I ordered a chicken family box and some sides to share, but despite not being too busy, I ended up sitting there for 45 minutes. I noticed other customers receiving their food before me, and when I finally got my order, it was not only incorrect but also cold. The chicken was missing, and the food did not taste fresh. I was so disappointed with my experience and would advise others to avoid this restaurant.
Since moving to Colorado, I have been craving delicious restaurants. I have been on the hunt for a good chicken restaurant, but have had no luck finding one nearby. However, when I returned to Texas, the first place I visited was Chicken E's. I ate nothing but chicken for three days straight. My personal favorite is the fried chicken with okra, while the kids love the chicken strips and corn nuggets. The portions are large and the quality is high, which is rare to find nowadays. Their tea is also delicious. The only downside is that they are currently closed, leaving me hungry. I already know what I will be having tomorrow. I highly recommend giving Chicken E's a try soon, as I am sure you will become a fan as well.
On June 19, 2022, my experience at this restaurant was disappointing. The order taker seemed rushed and the person at the window was rude. The portion of gravy provided with the chicken livers was only enough for dipping about 1/3 of the livers, whereas they used to give 2 larger containers. As a result, I ended up throwing away 2/3 of my lunch. I don't think it's worth the effort to go back and address the issue. I will save fuel by choosing not to return next time.
I am so sorry to say that this is no longer on my list of favs. I ordered online and had to wait 25 minutes to be ready. I was greeted no more than 5 minutes when I stood at the counter and the greeting was “What is their order?” not a “Hello”, not a “welcome”, nothing. After waiting for my order for so long, I checked it out before leaving and there were several things missing. none of the sauces, a order of the bone in the chicken, no serious (not for the chicken tsarte or the carto-smooth) and the bottom of the chicken-shoed crate was so wet with condensation that it fell apart. I really felt quite disappointed paying $70 for huh and treating with all this. Maybe they are short staff like everyone, but the people who grab the bags did not move very quickly. the chef was certainly coughing. he is really the only reason why I give a star that he saved the day by helping the girl take care of my order. Too bad I love her huh.
