Restaurant bewertenI love the staff and we are very helpful. I have a lot of food allergies. I can't have gluten, garlic or onion. They made me gluten-free pancakes with blueberries. And eggs and bacon. They ensured that no garlic and onions were used with the egg or bacon. Also coffee was amazing! Thank you Tex and Shirley's for being ingenious and being sure I had a safe meal!
I met with some friends here who came out of town, and we expected a spirit that blew breakfast, but it was overrated and overpriced. The Hasch brews were boiled and had no taste, the eggs were dry and had a strange texture, and the bacon was barely cooked. The pancakes were nothing special - they were just pancakes that everyone could make strawberries home with some powder and water and canned. I have no idea how people this place is amazing or how the Greensboro news and record decided they had the best breakfast (a sign that they hang on the door) when I have at least 5 other breakfast places in Guilford district that are better. We all agree that we should have gone to Waffle House instead. Add: Our server was the best in the place. She was patient and friendly and often checked us, but the older woman in the register (either a manager or owner I suspect) was short with my friend who tried to leave a custom tip (higher than the percentage boxes).
The service was good and the food. Surprisingly, the coffee from El Salvador was tasteful.
Simply delightful, exceeded all expectations. Omelettes were generous and perfect, the salsa was amazing, even the fries had that flawless crunch on the outside, soft in the middle, without being grainy. Service was excellent, will definitely stop in again when we are back that way.
One of my favorite breakfast spots. Absolutely love coming here. Prices are very cheap for quality food.
