Cafe Gouda - Hickory

Got the all meat and all veggie omelet with house fries. Delicious!! Also got a strawberry shortcake Frappuccino. I know they must have these in heaven!! They are that good!!

Had some of the chicken and rice soup. Tasted very much like campbell’s soup. Waited 30 mins, probably waited for someone to buy a can from the nearest grocery store. ???

So so good! such a cute local spot to stopin and grab a quick lunch or breakfast! They have indoor seating and a cute patio that is dog friendly! The sandwiches are to DIE for and typically like 6-9$ depending! they have salads and all day breakfast (try the french toast! . It’s quick but can at times take a while. I’ve averaged getting food in about 10-20, but there has been the occasional 30ish minutes. But def worth it! Stop in and give it a try

I was disappointed when I ordered expressly stating no bacon and sandwich came with bacon. Then after I told them, they just took bacon off and brought back same sandwich. We have people in the world with strict dietary concerns and this was not respected.

Like the feel of a small town diner? Here’s your place. Fast friendly. Food is good and trendy or basic; your choice. Prices are incredibly reasonable comparatively in today’s market. I visit for breakfast at least once weekly and rarely is my bill over $10! Bravo Cafe Gouda for working hard to keep consistent in offering reasonably priced great food, coffee, treats, smoothies, etc! Cafe Gouda is like a mini-cheese cake factory with a small town feel.
