Mediterrane - Herefordshire, County of

I was looking for somewhere different from a pub meal to celebrate our golden wedding anniversary. We were staying in Hereford, and I had no idea about local restaurants, but the Mediterranee name caught my eye and sounded attractive, so I booked a table. We were quite disconcerted by the location in an industrial estate when we arrived, and the exterior of the building didn't look too promising. We were in for a treat. A beautifully cooked fixed-price meal from a menu with a wide range of choices. Ali, the manager and chef, was kept busy with take-away orders, but it was a shame that there weren't more customers eating in. He deserves more.

I’m relatively new to Hereford so still finding new places to eat out. I’d seen Mediterrane when taking my car to the garage opposite and decided to give it a go when I had friends come to visit. Really glad I did as we had a great time. We were the first ones in their which is always a little awkward, but straight away we were de to feel very welcome by Ali and our waitress. The food was great and such good value, I’ll definitely go back, and remember to take a bottle next time.

Went there last weekend for the 1st time and it won't be the last! Fabulous meal. The owner took time to even talk to every customer. Excellent service. Thankyou Ali to you and your staff . So glad we found this place Louise Alec Stallard
