La Deportiva Charlies - Heredia

This is a pretty famous place in Belen because of the good food (for being a bar). All the bocas are pretty tasty and they come in generous serving. You will find many kind of chifrijos (even an option for vegeterians) and I would recommend the chicharrones here. The service is pretty good and the beers will be served pretty cold here. It will get easily crowded after office hours, so you better plan to arrive early (good idea for getting a parking spot).

This is like the best local hangout place. Cheap cold beer and excellent food. Small parking below but usually have a spot. Easy uber drop off and pickup. Friendly staff and okay speed on service. Another spot that I guaranteed to visit every time I am at Costa Rica.

Food and service are amazing! Their ceviche is my go to every time I’m in town. Highly recommend 10/10

The price is low, the quality is high and the size is big. The bring the food very quickly. Only down side is the parking lot space
