Restaurant bewertenMom took me out for lunch since it was my birthday recently and my only stipulation was Mexican food. I didn't mind what restaurant and skre pointed out that neither of us have been here so we decided to check it out. The vibe is very relaxed and friendly. Th bright colors for decorations and pictures and art of animals make it feel very welcoming. Our server, Drew, was great, friendly and helpful. Our burritos came out so quick too! I admit I was surprised the queso was orange and not white, but it was still delish! All the food was yummy and well priced.
Really good Mexican food at affordable prices. Their kid's meal come with a drink and dessert, a huge hit with my kids. Their decoration is really unique, which makes for a fun ambiance, but service was so-so when we went. Overall a great place to get your Mexican craving filled.
Wife, kids, and I usually stop here on our way out of Richmond heading back towards the western part of the state. The service is generally quick and polite, the restaurant itself is neat with fun pictures, and the outdoor seating is very pleasant. I always get the enchiladas with some form of their sauces and it's always good.
My wife has seen this place for around 7-8 years and never tried it so we decided to give it a chance. The interior is amusing to say the least like many Mexican restaurants. It can certainly be a good conversation starter! We got seated pretty fast and our waiter already introduced himself with the introductory chips. He was very fast and attentive. The menu was very colorful and clean, easy to understand and to navigate. My wife ordered the Chuychanga and was very pleased by it, she said that the sauce mixed with cheese was a nice touch, the chicken wasn't dry and the tortilla shell although fried wasn't oily at all, it was all served with the classic refried beans and rice with a scoop of sour cream. I ordered the Steak Burrito and I gotta say, it is definitely bigger than my face! Although simple, the steak was delicious and not dry at all as typically is in Mexican restaurants. It wasn't overly cheesy either with the refried beans and rice that come with it make it a nice combination. The plates came to the table really quickly and extremely hot. It was a lot of food plus chips for the price, definitely worth it. We got too full for desert unfortunately but the tres leches cake sounded like a good time! Payment was made easy with scanning a QR code. My wife and I now know why this place has been here as long as it has!
I'm a sucker for a Tex Mex Restaurant serving Flautas ! However before I could even get to my order of Flautas, I was served a heaping basket of Chips and maybe the best Salsa I've ever had! That's a great way to start my meal. The Flautas are addictive and tasty. My ice tea was refilled without asking. Great customer service the entire time. I can't wait to return.
