Restaurant bewertenMy family and I often stop at this restaurant on our way out of Richmond, heading back to the western part of the state. The service is usually quick and courteous, and the restaurant has a neat atmosphere with fun pictures on the walls. The outdoor seating area is quite enjoyable, too. I always order the enchiladas with one of their delicious sauces, and it never disappoints.
I recently discovered Chuy's, and I was pleasantly surprised by the stunning interior. The restaurant is beautifully designed, exuding tropical vibes that make me feel like I'm on vacation. One of the best features is how spacious it is, with each section showcasing its unique decor. Whenever I visit, I always order the Chuychanga (a fried burrito), which is around $13 and delicious. I also indulge in their Tres Leches cake, which is incredibly sweet and rich, so make sure to save room for it! It costs about $8. The service is exceptionally quick as well! I highly recommend visiting Chuy's whenever you're in the mood for a getaway, even if you can't travel.
After placing our order, our food arrived in under five minutes! We opted for the fajita combo, and the flavors were definitely authentic. They marinate their fajita meat in Shiner Bock (a Texas beer), serranos, and spices, which you can really taste in both the steak and chicken. I have to deduct a star, though, because our tortillas were cold and slightly hard around the edges, as if they had been sitting in the container for a while. Aside from that, we would absolutely return to try their tacos and more. Plus, I can't forget to mention the fun T-shirts we want to buy!
This restaurant offers delicious Mexican food at reasonable prices. The kids' meals include a drink and dessert, which my children loved. The decor is quite unique, creating a fun atmosphere, although the service was just okay during our visit. Overall, it's a fantastic spot to satisfy your Mexican food cravings.
My mom took me out for lunch to celebrate my recent birthday, and my only request was for Mexican food. I didn’t care which restaurant we went to, and since neither of us had been here before, we decided to give it a try. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly, with bright colors and artwork featuring animals that made it feel very welcoming. Our server, Drew, was excellent—friendly and helpful. The burritos arrived surprisingly quickly! I was a bit taken aback that the queso was orange instead of white, but it was still delicious! All of the food was tasty and reasonably priced.
