Daniel Boone Motor Inn - Hazard

Everyone was very accommodating and nice, I've stayed here before and will do so again. Although the rooms are old it was reasonably well kept with clean sheets and towels.

Great place to stay highly recommend it . Will be staying there next time we’re that way for sure . Everyone’s so nice make you feel right at home .

Wow this was Hard to find!! The workers though (and the regulars) were super friendly! will be back on our next trip through!

Well upon entry to the daniel boone inn, owned by James Feilds, I come to an empty desk to check in and have to call the guy (who's sleeping most time) down to check us in. He ran the card for a weeks stay and then only AFTER he got the money off the card said absolutely no refunds if something happens you have to leave early. Now I know why. The smell was horrible and bed bugs eat you alive. You bring your own shampoo and whatever else you need and wash your own things because you know better than to ask the maid because she says they're always out of everything and only does laundry once a week. If you put dirty covers out then she makes you get them off the nasty stained and never clean floor and put them back on the bed full of rips and holes. It's ashame you gotta take things from a motel to the laundry mat. Theres also no cameras anywhere so you have to keep your windows up and doors locked and take everything you have with you if you need to go anywhere or you get robbed. Also be sure not to leave your room key in the door or laying around or they take it along with your $100 deposit because yes they are cons too. The AC is clogged with bed bug excretion so it doesn't blow. The rooms that have a microwave and fridge they're all rusty and don't work. Meth mike will wander in your room with items he stole from other people which are of course covered in bed bugs. sometimes he will fall asleep in your room while they crawl outta his bag of stolen things. It's one of those places you'd have to see it to believe it. Just ask around hazard about it. It should be called the bed bug inn.
