Restaurant bewertenA couple of floors above street level in the heart of Sydney's bustling Chinatown, Seoul Ria is always a popular spot for couples, large groups and everyone in between. This isn't haute cuisine, but the big Korean flavours, generous portions and reasonable prices rarely disappoint....More
A good place for late dinner; spicy/sizzling beef and beer. I noticed most staff are young guys from Asia (Korea?), and their service were excellent. I just don't like that it was so messy and dark -- it looks like a night club or something. And most of the crowds were -- as usual, koreans, chinese. :)
Food is good, although quality of the meat might be better (shrinks and looses lots of water). However it is a good place to go out with friends and share a BBQ Don't expect privacy there - crowded place and can get quite noisy. ;)
The dumplings and pancake were ridiculously oily. Dinner was disturbed by a group of 20 teenagers screaming and sculling beers.2% credit card surcharge, which is well above the cost to the restaurant.Prices were on the expensive side for Korean BBQ.Toilets were disgustingly dirty.Meat was decent.
This restaurant is patronised mostly by Koreans and the menu is extensive. Service by way of tabletop bell is good, food is quick and tasty. A nice dining experience for Korean meals.
