India's Tandoori - Hawthorne

This restaurant deserves at least higher than 4.3 stars!!! The chicken tikka masala was sooooooo delicious!!! I loved that the sauce was a nice thick texture. I paired it with the yellow rice (which comes with vegetables) but it was a great combination. Just really tasteful. Looking to comeback! We've been craving some good Tandoori since moving out of state and this place did NOT disappoint. We were the only ones here just after they opened. Service was phenomenal and the food was even better. Portions were enough to feed 2 and we tried the onion bhaji and were blown away. Great spices and the chicken was so tender the paneer was perfectly cooked, we definitely took all of our left overs back to the hotel! We need one of these in Reno, recommend for anyone looking for authentic Indian food in a great environment with awesome flavors. I absolutely loved my dinner tonight. It was delicious, with generous portion sizes and it reminded me of home. The service was excellent and I had a great time watching Bollywood music videos playing in the background. I ordered the Karahi Chicken with two butter naan. The dining experience was fantastic, with a dinner meal costing $20-30 per person. The food, service, and atmosphere were all top-notch, receiving a 5-star rating for each category.

The service at this restaurant is awful. The food is average at best. The vegetable entrees are very expensive, priced the same as meat entrees. Overall rating: Food 2, Service 1, Atmosphere 3.
