Pizza Delight - Hastings District

It takes a tremendous commitment for any business to survive during a global pandemic. Pizza Delight has not only survived, they have adapted and continued to invest in improving the customer experience. A spacious patio has been added to allow safe, enjoyable, outside dining and socializing. We spent 10 days at the Torrent River Inn and ate here daily. The food was delicious. The Pizza Delight menu is comprehensive and is now complimented by Genuine Broaster Chicken... If you haven't tried it, you don't know what you're missing! I became addicted to the spicy chicken with garlic pizza fingers. The classic panzerotti and BBQ ribs are delicious, too. After leaving Hawke's Bay, we stopped at a well-known Deer Lake eatery and had a terrible experience... made me realize how much I had taken good food for granted at the Torrent River Inn!

Food came out at all different times, server was rude. Rolled eyes when I asked where the rest of my food was. Would not recommend!

Poor attitudes of employees and bad customer service. Food was not desirable.

Fast turnaround on a take out order. Friendly service. Donair pinwheels were cooked perfectly and had great flavor.

Tried to order my usual meal for pizza delight. The shareable starter. It comes with nachos. garlic fingers, and wings but i always asks for boneless. This is the only thing i ever orders at pizza delight. I was told by the staff when ordering my order that they are not allowed to give me boneless wings because the owner dont allow it. The only way to get boneless wings at this pizza delight substitute them in on a normal wing order. Any other meal on the menu that includes wings, they wont allow you to get boneless. It MUST be bone in. Ok so after that, i decided to just get something else. After waiting for almost a good hour, we finally got our food. My pizza was the worst pizza i have ever ate. Not cooked all the way, and lack of toppings. My side salad seemed to be make with old, half rotten looking lettuce. Somehow the 7up in this place is bad too. After finishing the meal, we then had to wait about a half hour to get the bill. This place used to be good, but sadly is not anymore. It is extremely understaffed and has bad cooks. I have ate here a few times in the past years with no problem. But after this time, i cant see myself going back. It would be alright if one thing we ordered was bad, but everything we ordered didnt taste right, or just wasnt cooked all the way.
