B J Seafood - Hammond

If you're looking for fresh shrimp don't go here. I just moved to the area from the river parishes. Paid 15$ for a pound and a half of medium sized unpeeled shrimp. Also as far as boiled crab goes you can pay 24$ a dozen at millers mart and get a half dozen for FREE. Stick to the folks on the side of the road. I bought them because I was in a rush but defnitley not a place to go for fresh shrimp. Overpriced when you can just get it from the shrimp man or even rouses. Just some advice on saving money god bless

By far one of the best places to get seafood in the Hammond area, they have everything from fresh shrimp and crabs to alligator meat!! Prices are fair and service is great!! Can get a bit crowded, but that just shows the quality here

I ordered a dozen cooked blue crabs and a few pounds of boiled shrimp with potatoes. My wife enjoyed the crabs, and I enjoyed the shrimp. They were seasoned well and had great flavor.

Some of the best seafood in Hammond other than Michael's seafood and they also have a restaurant that has the best sandwiches in the state hands down. Each sandwich they put a lot of love in it because it is so delicious and you can tell that they took time and prepared the meal right so that once you get that experience of eating at BJ's just you're hooked. I'm obsessed with the fact that I must try everything on that menu that I eat myself I don't eat oysters so that would be one thing that I won't try but everything else that they have on that menu I will try sooner or later they also have fresh seafood in whale catfish and other types of seafood like fresh shrimps family have a variety of seafood in the freezer but it's a place that you really would want to try if you haven't Hammond Louisiana I promise you won't be disappointed.
