Restaurant bewertenFait maison on the goldhawk rd was our special small place to go when we friends come and need a little tasty. their cakes are delicious and the staff is wonderful. I sent my man home today to get some Portuguese torts. and he came back almost with a selection of salates. it is the place to visit a relaxing breakfast or lunch. highly recommended.
It is a great place for a snack with family and/or children and, for a British change, pierce hot coffee. but make sure that no selfish related the fruits of their artistic cream cake and that their Romanian, Bulgarian or Arabic is at least. to order-at-counter standard.
I was looking for a place to breakfast and found this really nice caffe, with very nice choices, the vegan chocolate paper was delicious! many thanks to the team and their friendliness see u soon
A quick visit from time to time before an appointment in the road opposite. A great flower display fresh food artistically laid out, salads of all varieties, patisserie and hot meals also available. Very small and very friendly and fresh and attractive interior. It's...in an unlikely spot, on a small roundabout, and therefore likely to be missed if so, it's a real pity.
Having read some poor reviews I was a little apprehensive as to what it would be like. However a few days before the owner phoned me to confirm the booking. On arrival they were expecting us and the table was ready. It was a little...quiet at first. Tea was brought promptly and the lady was very polite and explained the contents of the sandwiches and then the cakes and scones. The sandwiches were plentiful and fresh. We did query only scones between was it a mistake? She did bring another warm scone which was great. We thought the marmalade a bit strange to go with scones but there was black currant jam too. Strawberry jam is the usual but hey ho! Cakes were delicious on the whole but the fairy cakes were a little dry. When a further pot of tea was brought to the table it was clear that water had just been added to the old single tea bag and the resulting pale drink was horrible. A senior member of staff came to ask if all was well and when shown the poor cup of tea took it all away and brought lovely fresh strong tea and new cup and saucer with milk jug. All in all quite a pleasant tea time apart from the delivery van and drivers who were constantly in and out the front door with large packages. The fare provided was not what was on the groupon advert. It described mini quiches and brioche buns filled with salmon etc. We saw none of that.
