Subway - Hamilton

Service was fast but person couldn't understand what wanted a few times. I asked for honey oat bread and not whole wheat. I asked for peppers and onions on my sub while being toasted and got Parm cheese, so had to tell her again. Other than that it was ok lol. Location is small but was nice and clean.

There were no employees present at the restaurant. The store closed at 10am because the employee wanted a break. Could you believe Subway closing for a break? Please consider hiring more staff or avoid inconveniencing customers who make the effort to drive 10 minutes only to find locked doors.

The service and food at this restaurant are excellent.

The new counter staff lady is not good at her job. She has difficulty understanding English, and while it may sound discriminatory, it is not. Even my own wife and many of my employees are ESL, but you need a basic understanding of English to work in the service industry, which she lacks.

Beware of employees handling money and not changing their gloves before handling your toppings. I had to call out the employee on this occasion. Won’t be ordering from here again, through the app at least; I need to see the sandwich being made from now on.
